OpenAPC

OpenAPC is an APC (Advanced Process Control) solution that is highly flexible and configurable and covers a wide range of automation, visualization, and process control tasks from home control up to industrial automation. Control applications created with the OpenAPC editor's visual interface can perform several tasks dependent on how the application is configured and used. The application is available for many different platforms, so OpenAPC projects can be switched over to a different platform easily.

Release Notes: This version contains several bugfixes and corrections as well as a new MODBUS TCP slave plug-in. The most extensive enhancement can be found in the BeamConstruct laser marking application; it now is able to import 3D models and slice them into several layers. These layers can then be used for rapid prototyping or depth engraving applications to build up these 3D models.

Cool software! My first look made me a bit helpless but as deeper I dig into it I find more and more functionality and possibilities. Looks like it is a good tool for my (private) home automation project

If it is completed then this will be a superb project and one which I will, for the first time, actively contribute to.
