Social Media Toolkit for Facebook Applications
The Social Media Toolkit (SMT) is a platform designed to help organizations run community-driven, topic-based, and geo-centric news Web sites, similar to NewsCloud.com, as Facebook applications. Essentially, you can quickly set up and publish one or more topic-specific news sites with great social media features such as registration, voting, comments, newswires, posting, and resource links.

Release Notes: This release has been updated documentation and sample settings to make configuration easier for more environments. It has been updated to provide easier setup: a /sites/default subdirectory has been added with sample installation files; see /setup.txt. New features include ideas, answers, Twitter rooms, and photo streams. A Photoshop design kit is provided in /docs/designKit to offer assistance with graphics.
