Release Notes: Documents can now be reloaded using File->Reload. Frescobaldi now detects when other applications modify opened files. The music can also reload (or even display older, not up-to-date PDFs). Slowness caused by a PyQt 4.9.6 bug has been worked around. Many other bugs have been fixed.

Release Notes: This release fixes a critical bug which prohibited Frescobaldi from starting properly when the option "open files in running instance" was enabled on Windows systems and the user's username had non-ASCII characters in it. Cut-and-assign has been fixed. A new Ukrainian translation has been added.

Release Notes: New features have been added, such as code folding and editing a single line of music when shift-clicking a note in the Music View. It is possible to synchronize the Music View with the text cursor so that it always scrolls to the region where the text cursor is. There are many improvements as well: copied images from Music View now carry correct DPI information, autocomplete also looks for variable definitions in \include files, and the MIDI player follows program and controller changes when the time slider is dragged.

You can move the tabs, if you enable that in the Editor component settings!
Regarding the double quotation marks: does the font you're using have them?

Switching from Mac to Linux I tried out Frescobaldi as a Lilypond environment. I really thank the developers for such a well thought-out tool which from my point of view so far leaves almost nothing uncovered. It seems to be quite perfect and is very helpful in every respect. The only thing I miss is that you could change the order of the tabs in the editor by dragging them, when you have several documents open (working on a score and separate parts for instance), but this is really a minor issue. Ah, and one other little thing: inserting double quotation marks does not work...

Bravissimo!!
