Release Notes: This is a Windows only release. Some thread-safety issues which could result in a crash in the Cyphertite Management Console were fixed. Improper memory release on service shutdown was corrected. The crash handler code was improved to generate a dump file on certain types of exceptions.

    Release Notes: For all operating systems, this release improves automatic reconnect handling. Many updates and improvements have been made to the Windows Beta. This release adds a native backup browser, right-click functionality, Copy/Paste, Ctrl+C/V, and drag-extract functionality, an extract progress dialog, and many other improvements and some bugfixes.

      Release Notes: This is a Windows only release. It implements caching of the list of backups shown in the GUI Browse Backups section to improve performance. It fixes an issue where the Cyphertite Management Console stops working due to a failure to verify license certificate (bz #51). Other minor code cleanup.

        Release Notes: This release fixes an issue preventing archival of files >2GB on 32-bit Linux (bz #50), an issue which made passwords with certain symbols not work when stored in cyphertite.conf (bz #41), an issue with extraction of special devices, and cases in which hardlinks could fail to be created during restore.

          Release Notes: Relative path handling was improved to ensure incremental change detection. "../" is now automatically stripped from paths unless -P is specified to match gtar. There were minor code cleanups. In the beta Windows version, the initial configuration wizard and shell extension now provide the option to save your credentials. The GUI will now automatically log you in if you choose to save your credentials. Password change handling has been significantly improved. An issue where changing your user account password caused the service to crash was fixed.
