Aspose.Pdf is a .NET PDF component to write PDF documents without using Adobe Acrobat. It supports form field creation, document, text and page properties, color space, text, heading, and attachment settings. It lets you create PDF documents by using its API with XML templates and XSL-FO files. It also converts HTML, XSL-FO, and MS Word to PDF. Other features include image formats and security features, hyperlinks, the ability to add footnotes, automatic fitting to content in a table, decimal Tab stops, HTML tags, and keeping paragraphs together when breaking pages.

Release Notes: This release includes better support for existing file manipulation and has specific improvements for PDF printing, PDF to DOC, XPS, and various image format conversions. This release also focuses on watermarking, text extraction, PDF compression, and bookmarking functionality. A recently introduced Examples dashboard contains code examples for Aspose.Total for .NET products, and is part of the product installer.
Release Notes: This release added the ability to create tables inside new and existing PDF files. A FloatingBox class was added to the Aspose.Pdf namespace. Font support was improved with the ability to use pre-installed Windows fonts as well as fonts from any other folder. An Underline property was added to the TextState class. Release Notes: Support for rendering PDF documents to PostScript (PS) format was added. As per the Document Object Model (DOM) approach, each object inside a PDF file can be individually accessed and manipulated. Taking benefit of this mechanism, image collection support was added. Removal of headers and footers from PDF files was implemented. Color can now be set to the CMYK, gray, and RGB color spaces. Performance when converting TIFF to PDF, PDF to TIFF, HTML to PDF, and XPS to PDF, and when printing was improved.

The printing feature was made more robust when using the Document and PdfViewer classes. One of the new features regarding document conversion is During conversion from PDF to MS Word, headers and footers are now converted properly. Many classes including Table, Row, Cell, MarginInfo, BorderInfo, etc. are now in the Aspose.Pdf namespace rather than in Aspose.Pdf.Generator.
Release Notes: A new feature to manipulate watermarks or artifacts in PDF documents has been introduced, and now you can also count the number of watermarks of a particular type in a PDF document. A highly demanded feature, setting form fields fonts to other than the 14 core fonts, has been implemented. With this release, any font present in FontRepository can be set as the default font for form fields. A new enumeration, ExtractImageMode, has been introduced, and now images can be extracted in ActuallyUsed.
