ALTSE is an alternative search engine technology. It can index up to a couple million Web pages. Altse does not aim to replace existing search engine technologies such as Google, Yahoo, and so on. Instead, it aims to provide an affordable alternative to index Web pages for small size businesses and organizations.

Modoboa is a Web based application to create, administrate, and use virtual domain hosting platforms. Modoboa stores its data in a SQL backend (like MySQL or PostgreSQL). Using this database, you can integrate Modoboa with other mail components, such as Postfix or Dovecot.
Release Notes: This version improves PostgreSQL compatibility and tries to ease the installation of Modoboa with a new command line tool.
The WWWOFFLE programs simplify World Wide Web browsing from computers that use intermittent (dialup) connections to the Internet. It is a simple proxy server with special features for use with dial-up Internet links. It makes it possible to browse Web pages and read them without having to remain connected. There are too many features to mention, but they include privacy control, cookie/advert blocking, efficient bandwidth usage by specifying intervals between refreshes, options to monitor pages regularly, recursive fetching, HTML cleaning, highlighting of cached links, indexes of cached pages, searching of cached pages, and many more.

XiX Music Player is a music player for MP3, Ogg, and FLAC files. It is easy to create and maintain your own playlists. There is an integrated lyric viewer that searches for the lyric of the song you are listening to. If the CD cover is found, it is also shown. You can also rip CD tracks to MP3 or FLAC. Listening to your favorite online radio stations is also possible. The focus is on having fast control of all your music.

Aletheia is a browser-like application for sending raw HTTP requests. It is designed for debugging and finding security issues in Web applications. It is possible to apply filters on every request and response which can modify the content, for making Basic Authentication or OAuth requests, for example. Because it is possible to modify every bit of the request, it is easy to exploit Web applications. That means you can set, for example, custom Cookies or User-Agents, or send file uploads to the server. It uses the Apache HTTP core components library to send HTTP requests. This application also helps you understand how the HTTP protocol works.
Release Notes: This release adds a custom sidebar panel for each tab. The sidebar is only displayed if a resource handler is available for the content type. An HTML handler has been added that displays all links, images and objects of an HTML page, and there is an atom handler that shows all entry titles. A hex view has been added for binary content. Downloading of binary content like images, etc. has been fixed, as well as a URL resolving issue and some minor bugs.
Xtables-addons is a package which provides some extra plugins for iptables. It obsoletes the old patch-o-matic repository. Instead of patching the kernel source, extensions are built as modules and thus allow extending kernels without recompilation.

Pollen is a Web-based poll application that allows you to create and manage different votes. It features text, date, or image votes, anonymous voting, importing of voter lists from from CSV files or LDAP, import and export of polls, and a nice appearance.
Release Notes: This version adds new voting system (Instant-runoff voting aka alternative vote, Coombs' method, Borda count). The security of votes has been improved. This version fixes bugs in voters list creation and administration. RSS and poll export features have been deactivated with the security refactoring. They should be back in the next version.
Tine 2.0 is a Web-based groupware solution that focuses on usability and correctness. To achieve these goals, the project uses usability experts and covers most of the code by unit tests. TRIP is a general computer algebra system dedicated to celestial mechanics. It includes a numerical kernel and has interfaces to gnuplot and xmgrace. Parallel computations on multivariate polynomials can be performed.
Release Notes: TRIP now supports computers with up to 1,024 cores (instead of 255). Scalability has been improved on large NUMA computers. The SCSCP server now supports version 1.2 of the protocol SCSCP. The function integnum may return the results as an array of numerical vectors. Several bugs have been fixed.
Clonezilla is a partition or disk cloning tool similar to Symantec Ghost. It saves and restores only blocks in use on the hard drive if the file system is supported. For unsupported file systems, dd is used instead. It has been used to clone a 5 GB system to 40 clients in about 10 minutes.
Release Notes: The underlying GNU/Linux operating system has been upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2012/Oct/15). Partclone has been updated to 0.2.55. Some bugs have been fixed.
OpenAPC is an APC (Advanced Process Control) solution that is highly flexible and configurable and covers a wide range of automation, visualization, and process control tasks from home control up to industrial automation. Control applications created with the OpenAPC editor's visual interface can perform several tasks dependent on how the application is configured and used. The application is available for many different platforms, so OpenAPC projects can be switched over to a different platform easily.

Fimex is a the File Interpolation, Manipulation, and EXtraction library for gridded geospatial data. It converts between different, extensible data formats (currently netcdf, NcML, grib1/2, metgm, wdb, and felt). It enables you to change the projection and interpolation of scalar and vector grids. It makes it possible to subset the gridded data and to extract only parts of the files. For simple usage, Fimex also comes with the command line program fimex.
Release Notes: Fimex has been backported to compile again with boost 1.32, gcc 4.1, and icc 11. The getScaledDataSlice function is now 1.6 times faster on large datasets due to better internal inlining.

mu is a collection of utilities for maildirs, in particular for indexing and searching them. mu fills a database with information about your emails, which can then be queried using an easy query language. It can work stand-alone or be integrated with a mail client. It also provides an emacs-based email client ("mu4e") and bindings for Guile/Scheme.
Release Notes: This release adds crypto-support for both mu and mu4e, improved support for non-ASCII, and a number of performance improvements. mu4e, the Emacs frontend, has been given many UI improvements, more powerful extensibility, and much-improved documentation.
galculator is a GTK 2/GTK 3-based scientific calculator supporting algebraic mode, RPN, and formula entry mode. Features include arithmetic operations plus precedence handling, full keypad support, trigonometric functions, power, square root, natural and common logarithm, constants (e, PI), and inverse and hyperbolic functions. It supports different number bases (decimal, hexadecimal, octal, and binary) and angle bases (radiant, degree, and grad).

nut is nutrition software to record what you eat and analyze your meals for nutrient composition. The database included is the latest USDA Nutrient Database for Standard Reference. This database contains values for vitamins, minerals, fats, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, etc., and includes the essential polyunsaturated fats, Omega-3 and Omega-6. Nutrient levels are expressed as a percentage of the Daily Value, the familiar standard of food labeling in the United States, but also can be fully customized. Foods can be added from recipes or food labels, and nutrient intake can be graphed. The program is completely menu-driven and there are no commands to learn.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug where Omega-3 would be over-estimated on certain analyses because the food database derived nutrient fields were added up incorrectly.
Luit is a filter that can be run between an arbitrary application and a UTF-8 terminal emulator. It will convert application output from the locale's encoding into UTF-8, and convert terminal input from UTF-8 into the locale's encoding. It is mainly used to support xterm.
Release Notes: Uses updated configure-checks from xterm to make Mac OS X Lion and Mountain Lion ports work. Fixes a regression in the -encoding option. Several other portability/reliability improvements.
The xterm program is the standard terminal emulator for the X Window System. It provides DEC VT102/VT220 and Tektronix 4014 compatible terminals for programs that can't use the window system directly. If the underlying operating system supports terminal resizing capabilities (for example, the SIGWINCH signal in systems derived from 4.3bsd), xterm will use the facilities to notify programs running in the window whenever it is resized.
Release Notes: Fixes bugs reported with the #283 release (regression in the --regex configure option and undesirable interaction with existing iconName behavior).
